This question is epic. The Simpsons is one of those shows that consistently makes me happy no matter how low I'm feeling. The newer episodes can go to hell, but anything before 2000 is guaranteed to make me happy and to give me enough fodder for 2 or 3 nerdy friendships. It's tough to pick a favourite character--they all have their golden moments. I basically love all of the characters equally. So instead, I'm going to pick some of my favourite simpsons lines of all time.

Homer: TWENTY DOLLARS? AWWW. I WANTED A PEANUT.
Homer's Brain: Twenty dollars can buy lots of peanuts!

Thusly, to mix a pre-existing tofu dish with a pre-existing dish of general tao's CHICKEN (which is a meat product) does not create general tao's tofu. Although your fervent desire was that some of the topping from the chicken would carry over onto the tofu by osmosis, you are in fact required to coat tofu with the sauce and then fry it until you have an adequate portion. If I were to order a BLT, I would not desire a salad with lettuce, tomato, bacon bits, and croutons, and when I order general tao's tofu I do not desire tofu and peppers with some chicken on the side.
